I have made multiple attempts to contact Stellar Recovery to seek verification for the amount and to settle the debt. I have completed their webform requesting information, and I have tried calling their posted telephone number. The webform submission has not yielded a response and the phone number is directed to an extension with a mailbox that will not accept messages. Because of a drastic change in my income for my household I fell behind all bills. I was not aware of the contract I signed with - for home security when I was told differently that it was trial promotion. Because of my medical - I have been very forgetful with my memories lately and it 's hard to make decisions when needed to. With that being said I did try to make payment arrangements and I failed to keep them because I forgot to put it on my calendar. Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info talked to a third party about my debt July 30, 2016 - I was told at the front desk of - -/-/- that there was no debt owed by me when I asked about the remaining balance. After three years I see that is is still being reported as late as -/-/-. I did not know this was happening. No attempts to collect this have been made to my address with any communication, not letter or email. This has affected my credit rating for awhile and I am not certain that removing it by paying it will actually happen.... |

Stellar Collections contacted my father, whom lives - miles away, and whom I have n't lived with in over 13 years and told him the date of the delinquent bill, the full amount, and was asking how to get in touch with me. Subsequently, my family called me and informed me of all of the information, gave me the number to Stellar and said that they wished for me to call. I am not allowed to receive personal calls unless it is a life or death matter. They are now asking for my supervisors since I am not able to take the calls.
