Bank of the West Credit card closing/cancelling account August 15, 2016 - I applied for an account with Bank of the West in - 2015 they approved me and never sent me the card for six months they made an error with my name on the card. The introductory APR had expired and I had to call and request that be reinstated. I had my payments on auto draft and they stated one of the payments was not enough to cover the monthly payment so they had sent the account to collections.
