They obliged my request but failed to disclose that they obtained that rate not by matching it but by having me pay points to buy the lower rate. DHI Mortgage Mortgage settlement process and costs November 17, 2015 - The stupid - 3 day for CD disclosures to the consumer is the most ridiculous rule that has ever been created for the real estate community. Even if the CD changes the title and lender has to eat it. As a borrower my new home is ready and these changes has delayed us being able to get into the home 5 days and possibly more than that because of the - - holiday. I would think that after 3 months of searching for a home, and 30-45 days of underwriting and getting everything to the underwriter except a sample of blood, that the last thing I would want is an unnecessary delay. DHI Mortgage Mortgage settlement process and costs November 9, 2015 - A VA funding fee was financed into my loan amount, without an option to pay the closing funding fee paid at closing. The seller were to pay all closing costs. Case in point : Escrow funds were not paid by seller, until I inquired and requested the funds for the escrow shortages, of which I still have a deficit. Other issues are now under investigation, concerning the payments paid at closing. ... |
