I had already vacated the premises due to unihabitable conditions, - rat infestation ) and they wanted rent money and fees for that one month and readying the apartment ( carpet fee etc ) they also kept my deposit. I left the place because of their lack of security, roach infestation and loud obnoxious neighbors. I went to court because they said I had not paid my rent. I had money orders etc to show it was paid yet they still sought legal action against me. I responded to the judge and explained the situation thoroughly.
