Ally Financial Inc. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt was paid December 7, 2015 - I had a leased vehicle. When I turned it back to - I was billed $600.00. I am - yrs old, get food stamps and can not make ends meet. The lease had been paid by a relative who can no longer help. It was financed through Ally. I have been sending a $10.00 check faithfully every month. However Multiple phone calls continue to come although I have contacted them both by phone and mail. There is currently an account that is showing on my credit report that is an auto repossession from - and is still showing up as an unpaid and owed balance. This account is very old and has been hurting my credit and has been preventing me from opening any other accounts with any other company. Unfortunately, I was the victim of identity theft. I have done everything required of me by law to dispute the fraudulent items on my credit report. I sent a letter to ALLY FINANCIAL '' on -/-/2014 via USPS certified mail. The company refuses to honor my rights under the FDCPA & the FCRA as a victim of identity theft to remove the fraudulent inquiry that was submitted without my knowledge, consent and/or authorization.
