This is after a conversation I had the previous day ( different customer service agent/paralegal ) requesting an email with their original correspondence as I had recently moved. June 26, 2015 - After I asked if I could make a smaller payment day of call and set up automatic payments each month the person on the phone said no they wo n't accept it and that they can serve my husband with a lawsuit even though he 's not on the debt because we live in California they are allowed to do that and also place a lien on my house even if the house is in my husbands name.
