Regions Financial Corporation Credit card advertising and marketing February 27, 2016 - I applied for a card with higher credit limit and was offered a card with a lower limit. During the application process I was told by the banking manager that my application needed further review to clear a credit exception. At that time, I was told my the banking manager I would be approved because she has a relationship with the underwriter due to the credit issue being mine. It was a minor collection that was misreporting ( currently now being disputed ).
