Barclays Credit card cash advance fee November 16, 2015 - I authorized a credit card purchase of $500.00 through - using my BarClayCard on - -, 2015. I now see that they charged me interest and a cash advance fee for the purchase. This was not a cash advance fee. I believe that because I am using their special promotion of 0 % interest for 2 years, they are trying to get some kind of money out of me. I did not authorize a cash advance on my card and nor would I. Barclays Credit card cash advance fee November 5, 2015 - I was contacted by Barclaycard - Department advising me that my account ( - ) was blocked and that I needed to go to a banking center and attempt to do a cash advance, and have the bank teller call them to verify my State DL and identity. Which I did and they charged my account a cash advance fee of ten dollars.
