Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine June 30, 2015 - Collection Agency is trying to collect money I do not owe, for a vehicle that was impounded. The vehicle was not mine nor registered to me. I have repeatedly told her this issue is not mine, it is my dad 's ( we have the same name. ) it has been disputed with the - credit bureaus but she told me she will not remove it until it is paid.
