Collection Agency is trying to collect money I do not owe, for a vehicle that was impounded. The vehicle was not mine nor registered to me. I have repeatedly told her this issue is not mine, it is my dad 's ( we have the same name. ) it has been disputed with the - credit bureaus but she told me she will not remove it until it is paid. I repeatedly told her, it 's my dad 's, and she said she has documents with my social security number that links it to me. I have asked for the documents or proof, which have been denied. I 've been told to have my dad call them to pay the debt and then they will remove it. She will not release information as to how my social security was obtained, which I believe was obtained in an unethical manner through a third party.
