Apparently the person who previously had that cell phone number owes money to someone. Today, a third debt collector called my son 's phone in an attempt to collect the prior person 's debt. We have informed both prior debt collectors that the phone number they were calling is that of a minor. While that may have stopped that debt collector, that had not stopped debt collections directed at my son, who is not the debtor, and who it is illegal for the debt collectors to call.
