HSBC Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info contacted employer after asked not to June 10, 2015 - - called me at work, since I am unable to take personal calls, I disconnected the call. They then called back and must of asked for a manager. I then got a call from him telling me this company called and gave him a phone number and case id and that I needed to call them because they were trying to serve me a court summons. I called them back after work, but since I had already paid the debt off. I informed them of this and told them to stop calling. No calls since then.... |
HSBC Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info contacted employer after asked not to May 11, 2015 - Debt collection agency contacted my employer stating that they needed permission to serve process at my job. When I received the contact information of this agency I called them and was informed that they contacted my employer because they would be garnishing my wages at the maximum amount that the state statutes allows. I inquired as to whether or not the agency had received a judgement allowing such and their representative stated that they were beginning legal actions and that no such judgement had been entered. ... |
