Allied Interstate LLC Debt collection false statements or representation attempted to collect wrong amount July 28, 2015 - I received numerous letters and phone calls from this collection agency over the course of years. I did not recognize the debt however in order to rid myself of the problem, when I received a letter that was an offer of settlement for an amount that I could afford, I sent in the payment. I 've since learned that this debt is barred by the Statute of Limitations and not even on my credit any longer! Instead of receiving a letter acknowledging the debt payoff, I received another bill for the balance!
