JPMorgan Chase Debt collection communication tactics used obscene/profane/abusive language November 12, 2015 - I was left a message by a " courier company '' about documents that supposedly had been left at an office and I need to call about. or they were going to call for legal action. If I did n't contact them by end of the day, they would come to my work or home. When I called, I got a mediation company, who then said they were transferring me to some legal firm. The person mumbled a name and when I asked him again, he would n't repeat it. I was then sent to some kind of a legal specialist..that was the - person I talked to. JPMorgan Chase Debt collection communication tactics used obscene/profane/abusive language April 3, 2015 - I was called about a debt that was written off - years ago, by the credit card company. It was then sold to several collection agencies, before ending up in the hands of - financial in Illinois. ( - ). They never stated this was an attempt to collect a debt, nor read the mini mirnada '' required by debt collectors. The guy then proceeded to insult me, calling me a child, a bum, loser and so on. I eventually hung up, but after working in collections for a short time, I know what they did is illegal and they need to be fined for this. ... |
