Good Morning, During the process of reviewing my credit report. I noticed the company Financial Data Systems Inc. on my credit reports as collections multiple times. It states the file was opened on -/-/2017 in several different amounts for this noted date. Amount # 1 : $29.00 Amount # 2 : $120.00 Amount # 3 : $26.00 Amount # 4 : $120.00 & Amount # :5 $200.00. I have contacted this company via certified letters asking for validation of these debt amounts because they do not belong to me. I did not receive a response from this company. I have also made attempts to contact this company via telephone & informed the rep that I sent out letters requesting validation & informed him that these debts were not valid. The individual attempted to still collect a debt after I informed him multiple times during the call that the debt did not belong to me & that it was IMPERATIVE they removed these debts from my credit report. I then contacted - & - via certied letters requesting that the debt be validated or deleted. In response I received correspondence stating that the debt was validated but there was no proof of validation as requested. Which in turn I sent a second round of letter to both the credit bureaus & the debt collector to attempt to resolve this matter. Financial Data Systems then sent an update to all credit bureaus on -/-/2017 causing an additional major hit to my credit. Financial Data Systems Inc is not licensed or authorized in the state of South Carolina to collect on any debt. Their license has been considered dissolved which means it is not legal for them to practice debt collection in the state of South Carolina. So I do not understand why this company is attempting to collect on debt especially debt that does not belong to me. I have exhausted all of my options as an attempt to reach a resolve in getting this debt removed off of my credit report with all bureaus.
