Citibank Credit card department,
While on an - - flight, they offered an - - Citi Bank credit card. The offer could be applied for on the plane, or done through their website. I applied online, and so did my husband. The offer was for - bonus miles if you spent $1000.00 within the first three months of account opening. We were issued the - - cards. We both spent well over that amount within the first three months. The credit card company confirms this was done. I was scheduling my next flight, and noticed that neither one of us had our bonus miles on our account. We had miles for the dollar amount of purchases, but not the - bonus miles. I spoke with a manager in the retention department that was baffled as to why we did n't receive the bonus miles. I was asked to send in the original offer that I applied for, which, by the way, is always a running offer on their website. It has n't changed since I applied. I did so, and have yet to get a response. They are unwilling to credit me the bonus miles that they offered me when I applied. Both my husband and I have done everything that was required to receive the bonus miles, but they will not give them to us. They keep telling me that they ca n't be sure that 's the offer I signed up for. Why would they have sent me an - - credit card, and give me miles for every dollar I have spent if I did n't sign up for this offer? That does n't make sense.
