Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I obtained a credit card with Synchrony Bank to obtain a 18 month no-finance account to pay for flooring and install service from -. We had just purchased the home so it was empty for the flooring to be installed. - charged my Synchrony account on -/-/2016 for $6000.00. - - started install on -/-/2016. My wife and I attempted several times to get - - management to come to the home as the install did not look correct to us. My wife sent pictures to - - and -, the flooring manufacturer. - admitted the flooring is defective via pictures. - - continued install using wood putty on luxury vinyl plank flooring to hide the defect. In addition - switch carpet on us and installed a lower quality carpet than what was contracted for. - violated - installation instructions, which would void the warranty. We rejected the install and merchandise. An independent flooring consultant hired by - verified our complaint with the vinyl flooring. - admits all this but refuses to install new flooring as furniture and personal items now need to be moved and they refuse to hire a professional to move our items. Synchrony twice has sided with - but I have filed a fourth dispute with them stating a billing error in accordance with the terms of The Fair Credit Act has occurred since I have not received the merchandise or service I contracted for. Synchrony Bank and - - are trying to force me to accept the $6000.00 charge.
