I have been a victim of identity theft repeatedly over the last 10 years, including due to data breaches on - -, and -, all of which revealed my name, address, dob, ssn, and place of employment. While the accounts that were fraudulently obtained were all removed, the inquiries from the more recent breaches have not been removed. I filed complaints over the phone, and in writing to TransUnion instructing to remove the inquiries. I was informed that they were removed on the phone, and logging into my TransUnion credit monitoring product shows that they are removed. However, I received no response to my written dispute of the inquiries. When I pulled my report today from a third party site, all of the inquiries, fraudulent or not, are there again. If I log into TU, it shows - inquiries. Trying to obtain my free credit report through their dispute and annual portals results in no report, as it appears they have blocked me from accessing them through anything other than their credit monitoring tool.
