I have applied for a CITI simplicity card on -/-/2017 & it took 10 business days for CITI to pull the credit report and process further. Later they sent a letter stating they tried to contact me but they could n't reach out to me. I reality I never ever received any call from them. They asked for additional documentation like utility bill & Pay stubs in a letter that I received from them in the mid -/-/-. When I contacted the customer care they said I can even email the additional documents to - and I sent it on -/-/-. On -/-/- when I contacted again they said they do n't accept the documents thru email and they only have to be faxed and they have to pull the credit report again. Unnecessarily they pulled my credit report and gave all wrong information and never specified that the credit reports expire every 30days. On -/-/- when i talked to the customer care representative supervisor he asked me to fax the documents and they will pull the credit report again which came as a shock to me. I do n't get what took them so long to process the application and then they provided all wrong information and now they are saying they will pull the credit report again.
