Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I had signed and agreed to 0 % interest for 5 years for a medical procedure that was not covered by insurance. I set a direct payment from my checking account to CareCredit and therefore was not late with any payments. Two years later, I received a statement that was over and above the balance. I called and spoke to - and was told that interest had now been added. I explained that my agreement was for 5 years, interest free. I then told him that I would pay the remainder of the balance of $11000.00 in full plus - and - payments but that I would not pay any interest on the balance. - tried to to waive the interest but the system would not let him. He told me to contact customer complaint in 3-4 days. I did and received a new reference. The issue has not been resolved and collection companies continue to harass me via emails, USPS and phone calls to pay the interest with a new amount of $3300.00.
