Was rejected for a mortgage so the mortgage company sent me a letter telling me that, and included Trans Union as a reporting source. Tried to log in at the website the letter advised me was there to provide me a copy of my credit report, and the site advised me that my report was not available due to a data entry problem. That error note gave me a phone number which I called to probe the problem. Over a period of 4 hours ( really! ), I spoke to 14 representatives - from consumer relations, the offline department, the online department, customer service. Each representative asked for my personal information, spent time researching issues, and then referred me to another representative. Each referral was back and forth from one department to the other - and then back again. I never was able to get my credit report online.
