Closing/Cancelling account Florida
I cancelled my Citi card in -/-/2016. They did n't cancel it when I asked them to because they wanted to make me an offer. They accepted another charge to the card that I had cut up and disposed of then started charging me late fees for not paying. I called them, and straightened it out ( I thought ) on speakerphone with my husband listening. The service agent worked with me I made a FINAL payment on the phone. I asked TWICE if that was going to - the balance and cancel the card and she responded YES. Today I got another bill for -. They charged me a minimum fee of $.00 and then a late fee of $25.00. I called and asked why. Because it 's the minimum fee ... the service agent could fix the late fee but could n't fix the minimum charge so it will just keep billing me forever. It 's only been $38.00 so far because I keep calling and having them remove the charges but this is ridiculous to go on this many months.
