What I was trying to understand is that I had actually zero current activity but there are - separate zero interest promotional balances incurred at different times. Today I was making a payment. My past payments reduced the balance of all promotional purchases but not the oldest first. No one can explain the logic. The agents say that they can not explain the allocation but, to their credit for doing their best within their authority, that consumers have to call or chat each month if the consumer wants the payment applied to the oldest balance or in any particular way. Could the company comment, is this information correct? Why ca n't anyone just explain the payment policy? ... is it too complicated?
