Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
-/-/2017 Mailed check to Old Navy/Synchrony Bank to pay balance of account. Check posted -/-/2017. -/-/2017 Rec 'd past due notice for $230.00. Conducted chat line chat with no resolution. Chat rep claimed my check returned NSF. I called my bank. Check never processed through them, not posted to my account, and nothing on my account returned. In subsequent calls Old Navy/Synchrony communicated the check was actually returned " uncollected funds '' & it 's between me and my bank. They also said they could n't provide a copy of the front and back of check and would not return the check to me. My bank ca n't track without that information. A chat rep also asked me to send them my bank statement showing that I have the funds available in my account and they would look into it. I refused! On -/-/2017, requested # for a Manager. I was transferred. Again, Manager stated they ca n't return or send a copy of the check to me. Meanwhile, I am showing past due, delinquent and owing over $7000.00 which I paid on -/-/2017 with Old Navy/Synchrony Bank still saying it 's my bank 's fault. Today I am sending a cashiers check for the original balance due by Priority Mail. I requested they remove all late fees/NSF fees/additional interest. Manager said they ca n't do that. Thank you.
