For a few years my identity was stolen. I discovered this because the franchise tax board notified me that my SSN was being used. I discovered that accounts were opened in my name taxes were filed. The account was opened at a residence that I have never lived. I filed an ID Theft Report copies were sent to - credit bureaus on - 2016.
