Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Alleged outstanding balance paid online using online web pay ( Lowes.com ). Found out about alleged outstanding balance while applying for a mortgage. The alleged amount was paid. In an attempt to not prevent mortgage processing delay, sent an additional sum in the amount if $470.00 ( with an additional $100.00 to ensure account finalized ). No efforts on the part of the creditor ( Synchrony ) to investigate the account - they just presented $570.00 in funds sent to them without investigating anything. I am - military and had not heard ANYTHING at all from this bank despite having other accounts open with them ( to include up to date contact details ). Syncrhony have destroyed my credit for not fault of my own and have prevented me in obtaining a critical mortgage - due to their inaccurate reporting.
