I have been making payments on my Macy Card, the last payment I made was in -/-/- for -. I also moved at that time, when I moved I changed my address with all creditors by phone and had my mail forwarded by the Post Office. When I paid my Macy Bill I also included the change of address form with my payment I mailed in, in -/-/-. After moving all my mail was being sent to my new address, the only statement that was not being sent to me was my Macy statement. I had assumed the account was paid since bills no longer were coming to me and all my other mail/bills ect were being fowarded. I called Macy today after finding out they reported me 5 months late. I am not late on any bills so it was a shock. During the call that was today -/-/- that I made on - Hawaii Time, the lady told me the reason why they stopped sending me bills was because the bill was returned to them, with a sticker from the post office saying I didnt live at that address and I had a forwarding address and that since


it was not my fault. She keeps saying all she would do is send me a statement showing I was late. I asked if the error is on your end why should I get dinged for it, that they should issue me a letter to correct it with the credit bureaus so I can fix my credit that was perfect. She said no and that it was my fault cause I should of called back again to change my address that I had changed already. I dont feel that I should be adversely affected since I did my part to update my billing address. All I want is for them to report to the bureaus that I was not at fault and to correct my credit rating. tahnk you
