Experian Credit reporting department,
Improper use of my credit report Report improperly shared by CRC Missouri
I would like to know how does the credit bureau maintain your credit score. I paid off several credit cards last month and I see that the accounts are showing paid in full on my report. However, my credit score is extremely low and I recently tried to refinance my car and was given a higher than usual interest rate, which should have been the reverse since I paid off the majority of my loans and credit cards. I need to know how do the bureaus keep reporting low credit scores when it 's obvious the debts are paid. I have no collections, no judgements and few inquiries. I once read that credit bureaus make more money when people have low credit scores. If this is such, then the whole fair credit reporting act should be thrown out the window when Credit Bureaus are allowed to report inaccurate scores.
