Citibank Credit card department,
I booked a flight on -. After I put in all my information, a window came up offering me - bonus miles after qualifying purchases. I applied for the card based upon their offer SPECIFICALLY to me. I complied with their qualifying purchases. I did not receive the bonus miles as they have a policy of not rewarding cardholders who opened or closed an account within 24 months. I do not remember reading such a qualification when I applied for the card or I certainly would not have completed the process. IF such a qualification appeared at all, it was not prominently displayed as was their offer. Citi is linked to - as every time I make a purchase with Citi my mileage account at - is credited. They should not make such a bold offer to me after I enter all my contact info if I do not qualify for the offer!
