I have made several attempts to request that " IQ Data '' ( The debt collector ) validate this alleged debt that they are stating that I owe with the first attempt sent in a certified letter dated - -, - of which they never responded or acknowledged that they received it which is a violation of the FDCPA section 1692 ( g ) and the fact that they never responded in 30 days, this is not a valid debt therefore it needs to be deleted from my personal credit account with -. The second letter was sent certified on - -, - and the Third and final letter sent out certified on - -, - of which as of the date of this complaint, they still have not responded. I have even filed a police report against IQ data and still no immediate response from them. I do not know who this company is or how they ended up with all my personal information and without my consent, and they feel it is okay to not abide by the federal laws that protect the consumer from fraudulent claims of debt collection and not answer any of my requests but still communicate with - and not the consumer to advising them to continue to report a invalidated debt on my personal profile which I have not contract with them on nor have they provided me proof in a detailed " Bill '' that show how and when this alleged debt occurred or what is it for or that I owe anyone an alleged debt and they have the authority to collect on behalf of the person who may be claiming I owe a debt. At this point I believe I am a victim of Identity theft and Extortion from this unknown company trying to collect an alleged debt that is not validated and refusing to provide me proof that what they are saying I owe is accurate and really a lawful debt that I owe.
