My husband died from - almost two years ago. He dealt with everything financial during our 40 plus years marriage. After his death I discovered he opened some accounts in my name. Once such account was a CitiBank Credit card. I diligently disputed all fraudulent accounts under the FCRA with the credit bureaus and filed multiple complaints with the CFPB. Thankfully all the matters were resolved. The CitiBank card in question was removed from my - credit report on -/-/2015. For some unknown reason, Citibank just assigned the same card to - - to collect, who has been attempting to collect the debt. I previously completed and uploaded a Federal Trade Commission Identity Theft Victims ' Complaint and Affidavit, which was signed at the - County ( Maryland ) Police Station located at - - - - -, Maryland -.
