Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
I received a credit card offer to transfer funds for 0 %, I responded to the offer on -/-/-. The only reason for opening an additional credit card was to take advantage of the balance transfer. I called on -/-/- to follow up on the transfer and was told it would take 7-10 business days. I called again today to follow up and was told it would take 10-14 business days and that their records indicate that I did not request this until -/-/- and I should see it post by -/-/-. I spoke to a supervisor who stated that a check will be mailed to me in 7-10 business days. I have never had a balance transfer on a credit card be sent personally to me as a check. I am furious that I jeopardized my credit by opening an additional credit card with a specific purpose to do a balance transfer and they are - around with it, not processing it and not processing it per normal industry standards. I spoke to a different supervisor asking to cancel this transaction so I can take my business elsewhere. That being said, I 'm not stuck with this credit card on I do not want or intend to use. Wells Fargo needs to be investigated for their practices.
