On - - Wells Fargo conducted an unauthorized hard check on inquiry on my credit report. I submitted an online request for Wells Fargo to contact the credit bureaus have the unauthorized inquiry removed. Instead of complying or providing me with an explanation for why they conducted a hard inquiry Wells Fargo asked me to file a request via mail. Since my experience with disputes by mail has been that they lack accountability and are often simply a way of dragging out the resolution process with the goal of discouraging the consumer from pursuing the issue I am filing a CFPB complaint instead.
