Wells Fargo & Company Credit card department,
I financed - through Wells Fargo Financial National Bank ( Wells Fargo Health Advantage ) in -/-/- for $6700.00 which would remain interest free as long as paid off by -/-/-. Well, due to health issues with hefty medical bills, I failed to pay it off on time so the interest started building. I notified Wells Fargo of the hardship my family was facing and asked if there was some type of hardship payment plan or anything they could do to give me some time. I was told that Wells Fargo does n't offer anything like that ... that I needed to get in touch with a debt relief company and see how they could help me, which I did! I was facing the probability of - ( which was only --to my parrot ) and my husband, who is a small business owner, had just had a --the -, and survived. He was not a - so ... .. Anyway, I could n't qualify for a loan, but after explaining my situation, they offered me a high balance, low interest, credit card that would cover most of the debt. I was ecstatic! However, after calling WF back, they laughed
message for a follow up call. I believe - called and said he 'd see what he could do. Again, no return call so I consolidated my higher interest accounts to this card. I have received letters saying my account is closed and has been charged off. Now I am being told my balance is due in full! And it 's from Wells Fargo. That makes no sense! The letters now state they offer budget friendly payments after they 've tacked on multiple interest charges and fees. I was told WF did n't do this when I needed it ... when I could afford it. I 've paid a total of approximately $7100.00 which pays for the -. All I 'll be paying on is interest and fees of which I now owe $4700.00. Ridiculous. I know I owe interest ; however, why could n't they stop the late fees when they knew I needed help? It just makes me so angry that I worked so hard to keep on track with my payments, calling WF, keeping them up to date, securing a payment method, and for what? I have a letter to mail to them. Do n't know whether I should?!
