Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low New York
My complain is with citi bank, my account went overdraft on -/-/2017 for the amount of $120.00. - transactions was present that day. - for $220.00 and the - for $370.00. I rush and did a deposit for $900.00 which bring my account to a positive balance of $770.00. ( I have the record ) by -/-/2017 my account still with the same balance $770.00, no changed on the account, until the next day the -, I checked my account and I was charged for an overdraft fee of $34.00 and the transaction for $370.00 check was return on the -. My concern is, if I have sufficient fund to cover my transaction, meaning my deposit was made on the - ( cash deposit ) why my transaction was not cover. I understand they might charged the $34.00 fee because at the moment when the check went thru it was not enough funds, nevertheless, it was not the case : the fund was more than enough went the check was returned which it was on the -. Please I would like to get attention on this matter is not the first time similar situation like this happen. I also file an internal complain with the company. Reference no. -
