Citibank Credit card department,
I was induced to switch from a no fee card to a fee based card upon the promise that I would be eligible for a promotional offer, which included awarding me - airline miles if I spent $3000.00 within the first three months of having the card. I satisfied the terms of the offer but the credit card company, Citi, is not honoring their promises to me. In fact, I called them several time about this and they originally said that they would review the call I had with the sales representative and honor their promise if that is what they told me. Later, they changed their mind and stated they would only make a decision about whether or not they would honor the promise that induced me to switch after I spent the $3000.00 and qualified. I did as they asked and spent the $3000.00 and then they said that they decided to not provide me the bonus points. Their actions were fraudulent and misleading. It caused me to forgo other offers and not use cards with better rewards.
