Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay Virginia

I recently learned of an usry law in Virginia that articulates a 12 % annual interest rate on these types of loans. I, unfortunately, took out several internet loans back in the summer. Upon learning of Virginia 's usry law, I contacted the - internet loan companies to negotiate a lesser interest rate. I was able to successfully negotiate a lesser interest rate with the first company. However, I called this company today and spoke to someone to inquire about the process of getting a lesser interest rate and was told that the interest rate was based on the contract for my state? I informed the representative about Virginia 's usry law. She informed me that I could speak with a supervisor. After waiting for approximately 15 minutes I spoke with a superivisor who said the same thing that the contract was written based on the state laws. This company is actually charging 299 % annual interest rate which is much more than the first company that negotiated a lower interest rate with me. Moreover, when I asked how much longer did I have on the loan, the response I got was until I paid it off. However, with 299 % interest rate when will that be. I am willing to pay back the monies borrowed with interest ; however, after recently being informed I now realized that I have been over charged quite a bit.
