In 2012, I was a customer with -. When I initially received service with them, somehow, and without my knowledge, they managed to create - duplicate accounts. While I paid my monthly bill for the service I received this duplicate " phantom '' account started racking up unpaid bills. Between then an now, I have been contacted by three separate debt collection companies trying to collect on what is about $250.00. Each time I inform them that this debt is not mine, request verification of the debt in writing, and tell them to stop contacting me. Each time, of course, they cease all action on the debt because it is clearly not a valid debt. I do not remember the name of the other collection agencies, but most recently I have dealt with Stellar Recovery out of -, FL. The initial fault lies with -, however, whatever debt collection company they sold the alleged debt to also bears responsibility for passing the debt that was know to be invalid on to another agency.
