I opened an account with Citibank in -/-/- for a $500.00 promotional offer. On -/-/- Citi closed out my checking since my funds were in the savings account without warning or notice. On -/-/- I received a letter telling me that everything on my end had been fulfilled for the promotion and I should expect to see payment within two weeks. That payment never happened so I reached out an additional time and Citi re-initiated another research request. I was informed today on -/-/2017 that they would not be paying out the bonus even after they told me all of my commitment had been fulfilled. They are saying this is in result to them closing down my checking account.
