Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Received bad information about my loan Indiana

Supposedly I had a private loan with Wells-Fargo, It looks like now they have given that loan to -. But when I look on my credit report it shows that I still owe both Well-Fargo and -. When I called to speak with a representative at - they there was nothing they could do to remove the old loan and to call Well-Fargo. After reaching out to Wells-Fargo they told me they no longer have the loan and there was nothing they could do so I needed to reach out to -. I told the rep that I had already done so and I was told to reach out to them, the Wells-Fargo rep said unfortuantely there was nothing they could do and that my credit report should not still show the information that it is currently showing. I have hit a dead spot with wells-Fargo.
