Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
I did a kitchen install with Lowes in - - NJ, it was a very frustrating experience and after not getting resolution from the store I put in a revoked charge and reached out to the CEO in North Carolina. The store reached out to me and requested a meeting where they asked me to email them releasing the funds revoked. They spoke of compensation however did not mention an amount. I was uncomfortable releasing the full amount not knowing what the compensation would be. I expressed this to the store manager - at the time. After a few days I received a letter from the bank letting me know the store had reached out to me and that I would be responsible for the full amount. I called the bank to let them know Loews and I did not come to an agreement and re issued the revoked charge. Now Lowes is letting me know they will not talk about compensation until I release the full amount. I have been working with - in the Lowes corporate office to try and get this resolved. She has confirmed Loews wanting the money released before talking compensation. I feel releasing the money will compromise my negotiating power and would leave me in a vulnerable position.
