Barclays PLC Credit card department,
I settled a debt with BARCLAYS BANK DELAWARE thru their Collection Agent - - - -. My original debt was around $2300.00 and we agreed to settle for the amount of $930.00 three monthly payments were deducted from my bank account ending in -. This account was paid per settlement agreement on -/-/2016. I was aware and accepted that I will receive a - at the end of the year to report on my Federal Income Tax. The issue is that I have, is that BARCLAYS CREDIT CARD refuses to update this account as settled and paid with the - major credit bureaus. I have sent them letters and called but they still have not complied with my request. As of -/-/2016 on a recent credit report pulled by -, this is the information that states related to my account : " ACCT SUBMITTED TO COLLECTION ; CUSTOMER UNABLE TO LOCATE SUBJECT ; CHARGE OFF CHRG $2300.00 ; CLOSED BY CREDITOR ; PAST DUE PAST $740.00 ''
