I have an account with PayPal Smart Connect Credit since -/-/- and I have been making the monthly payments online without checking the statements. I recently noticed that the balance was the same even though I was paying - dollars every month. I went online looked at the statement and saw that part of my payment was going to interest and the other part was going to some other charge that I had no idea what it was. I contacted PayPal Smart Connect Credit owned by Synchrony Bank to inquire about the unknown charge and was told it was credit insurance. I told the representative I did not sign up for credit insurance. He told me he would cancel it. They sent me a letter saying it was canceled effective -/-/- but never credited my account for the insurance payments that I have been paying unknown to me since -/-/-. They were charging me - per month.
