Sears Account - Account inquires - - made at Sears, -, -, -, OK - - Item - Made payment on -/-/- for -/-/- bill that was due -/-/- Item - Made payment on -/-/- for -/-/- bill that was due -/-/- Item - Made payment on -/-/- for -/-/- bill that was due -/-/- Item - payment was applied to -/-/- bill not to the -/-/- bill. Item - payment bill has a statement that I did n't make the -/-/- payment. -/-/- @ - I called Account Inquires, spoke to Princes, I was informed that the -/-/- payment was applied to my -/-/- bill. I asked that the -/-/- payment be applied to -/-/- bill. The options I was given was a removal of late payment fee or the refund of the $50.00 -/-/- payment. I told Princes, that I did n't want that because my credit report would still reflect a no payment in -/-/-. Princes connect me to the supervisor, -, who gave same options. I informed her that the current system of payment in store should be updated. The system does n't tell you that you are making a duplicate payment and give you the option to opt out of the payment. The current system will cause the customer 's credit rating to be negatively impacted because you will have a " no payment '' on your credit report that is false. This will reduce your credit score in a fraudulent way.
