They are unwilling to assist in a dispute on my Care Credit credit card. The dental provider overcharged me, synchrony said they researched it and are siding with the provider. When i asked why it 's because they have to take into consideration the provider 's claim. But not mine? just because they 're a business? this does not mean they are incapable of scams, which I explained to synchrony. I also, several times, explained that my insurance paid they 're part after i paid what was an estimation during my initial consultation. The estimation turned out to be inflated, and was actually more than my contracted rate so i am due a refund. Synchrony told m several times to either take this up with my insurance or small claims. Why is my insurance going to pay me the difference? the credit card needs to take this off of my account and deduct it from payments to the provider! I also pointed out that the written statement from the provider actually proves my point that I am owed a refund, as it says the amount due by me is less then what I was charged. at the very least keep the investigation going until it can be clarified? Nope they just find it easier to make me feel like I 'm the scammer. No help, no empathy, no apologies, just constant interruptions and frustrated responses were all I got from Synchrony. They also say I signed a contract, which it was not..its a treatment plan ( estimate ) that clearly says the charges may change due to unforeseen circumstances and this is the charge AS OF NOW! Come to find out, many other consumers have dealt with similar and many other various issues from Synchrony and Care Credit.
