I talked to the manager there in - and he gave me the SYnchrony Bank phone number to call, saying " it 's happened multiple times before and just call this number, explain to them and you 'll be fine. '' I was on the phone with Synchrony Bank for one hour and finally decided to close the account, thus dropping my credit score by - points.
