Citibank Credit card department,
I had a Bloomingdales charge card since -/-/-. They never sent statements or alert via email or mail. In -/-/-, I had a balance of $11.00. Bloomingdales still did not send me alert via email or mail and quietly charge me late fees. When I found out this issue in months, the total balance has reached almost $200.00. I called Bloomingdales to resolve this problem. I offered to pay the original balance $11.00 but they insisted that I paid all fees. I believe this is not my problem. If they had alerted me via email or mail, I would have paid off that $11.00. All other credit cards I use send regular reminders via email or mail to alert customers about pending balance. I believe Bloomingdales ' insufficient service caused this late fee and thus should be removed.
