I am two months behind in my American Express payments ( $3000.00 ) because I am awaiting a settlement check from an insurance company. This has been a stressful and financially difficult situation for me. My next door neighbor who lives in the apartment building I live in just knocked on my door to tell me she received a call from American Express looking for me. In fact she has been receiving these robocalls for weeks and only today finally answered the phone. I have been an American Express Gold Cardmember since 2010. I am completely appalled that they would breach my privacy and call my neighbor. I have no idea how they even got her telephone number. This has to be an illegal practice for American Express to share my financial details with anyone other than me.
