An account was opened under my name using my personal information by Wells Fargo bank without my consent or my knowledge. I called the bank and their explanation was the account was created based on the information received from an employer for which I had stopped working for more than 2 years prior to the opening of the account. I found out that the account was opened on -/-/2014. Although they claimed that it was closed, I can still see the account on my profile whenever I log in. It is important to note that I had serious security issues with the bank mentioned above. I used to receive email almost on a weekly basis informing that my account was compromised ; therefore, my online access was blocked and I, every time had to go and change my password
That situation caused a lot of stress on my relationship for I thought my wife was using my computer to access my account. That belief led to many unnecessary arguments in my relationship. I could n't imagine that someone from the bank was trying access my bank profile to create an additional account. I need you to please guide me in what my course of actions should be for this outrageous crime.
