Citibank Credit card department,
I was not given my FULL Award Miles as promised for opening and using a Citi - - - - credit card. I felt betrayed so I called to close my Account. The customer service team did not want to close the account ; in fact they sent me to the credit card retention department where I encountered a horrible agent who never addressed my REQUEST to close the account. After demanding him to close it with a very strong tone, the agent still did not close it. I then hang up the phone angrily. Shortly afterwards I called back and was informed that my credit card, - - Citibank was CLOSED, without me on the phone to confirm it. The Customer service representative did not communicate with me or read me a closing statement or any type of confirmation. In other words, my - - - Credit card account was close incorrectly and unprofessional. I was absolutely very upset and reached out to several supervisors at Citibank - - - After hearing my complaint, they all apologized on behalf of the agent. I also reached out to my Branch regarding the improper closure but still did not get any proper help, nor did i ever receive my -. - - -.
